Tanks
Underground tanks for petroleum products are steel cylindrical horizontal containers used to store various types of petroleum products and water. The underground location of these tanks is their main feature: such containers for gas stations are buried in the ground, allowing to use the above-ground site most efficiently, while ensuring increased reliability of storage of explosive substances.
The main field of application is the storage and dispensing of fuel and lubricants. Double-walled tanks for oil products have increased reliability and long durability, which is ensured by protecting the working surface with an additional outer surface.
To ensure the preservation of substances, the space between the outer and inner walls is filled with a gas or liquid with a lower density than that of the stored substance. Absolutely hermetic interwall space allows installing any configurations of leak detectors.
The breathing valve prevents the formation of air jams, and the control of the tightness of double-walled tanks for fuel oil storage is carried out thanks to the constant observation of the state of gas or liquid between the walls of the tank. This design ensures a high level of environmental, fire and explosion safety. Reservoirs for fuel oil require constant monitoring of the protective space between their walls, this makes it possible to quickly identify possible damage and prevent an emergency situation in time.
